Vivo TWS 3 and TWS 3 Pro earphones have been launched in China. They were announced alongside the Vivo X90 series that debuted in the country yesterday.

The Vivo TWS 3 duo is the successor to the TWS 2 series that debuted last year. The latest offerings also include significant upgrades over their predecessors. Read on to know what the audio device has to offer right out of the box.

Vivo TWS 3, TWS 3 Pro specs and features

The Vivo TWS 3 and TWS 3 Pro look identical to each other. They have an in-ear design with a small stem and angled tips. Users can control various functions by tapping the stem of the earbuds. The audio device also supports voice assistants. Each earbud is lightweight, weighing only 5 grams, and the earbuds are said to be made of medical grade material.

In terms of audio, the Vivo TWS 3 and TWS 3 Pro are equipped with a 12.2mm dynamic driver and a 3-layer nanocomposite diaphragm. Both earphones come with Qualcomm’s aptX Lossless transmission for lossless wireless sound quality and easy listening of CD-level original sound. The audio device also features Vivo’s proprietary ultra-wideband treble and bass unit. Both variants feature 360-degree spatial surround sound for an immersive experience. The TWS 3 duo pack intelligent noise reduction up to 49dB and double transparency mode. The earphones come with a personalized hearing experience that monitors wearing status in real time and improves the user’s hearing. The Vivo TWS 3 and TWS 3 Pro are equipped with three microphones, making them the first in the TWS segment to support full-scene video HD video recording, even in noisy environments.

Aside from the aforementioned specs, the Vivo TWS 3 Pro also packs additional features. It is the world’s first Hi-Fi TWS earphone with an independent audio chip. Hi-Fi refers to high fidelity, and it reproduces the sound with little distortion, making results similar to the original audio source. The extra listening mode would help the hearing impaired. The TWS earphones can also detect the user’s body temperature.

The Vivo TWS 3 Series includes common features such as 55ms low latency mode, multi-device dual connection, fast pairing, smart wear detection, call and information broadcasting, real-time translation and search headsets. The regular variant is claimed to offer 10 hours of battery life with noise canceling off and 40 hours with a charging case. On the other hand, the Pro model can deliver 6.8 hours of usage and 30 hours of total playback.

Vivo TWS 3, TWS 3 Pro prices and availability

The Vivo TWS 3 costs RMB 499 (~Rs 5,703) while the Pro model costs RMB 999 (~Rs 11,419). Both will go on sale from November 30 and December 6, respectively.
