Android 13 Starts Rolling Out To Vivo X80 Pro Flagship


Vivo has announced that Android 13 is coming to its flagship. The rollout of Android 13 has begun for the Vivo X80 Pro. This update, of course, comes with the newly announced Funtouch OS 13.

Please note that this is a phased rollout, so it may take a while to reach your device. The update is also being rolled out worldwide. You get all major Android 13 updates, plus a bunch of additions that Funtouch OS 13 offers.

The update brings the app pinning feature, which lets you keep your phone locked to one app while someone checks it out. Monochrome icons are there too, and so are color adjustments of built-in apps and UI elements.

The company has also tweaked the camera’s viewfinder in Funtouch OS 13, which now includes a stabilizer ring to make things easier. In addition, a new video editing option is now available. You can mute the video while editing and change the volume of each segment as you like.

Something called the ‘Effects Master’ has also been introduced. In a nutshell, you can choose between different photographic styles and change the tone of your photos.

The hidden album feature is also included in the update, and so are some additional options in the accessibility section. For example, you can now remove all animations there without digging through the developer settings.

The Vivo X80 Pro was announced back in April and it’s actually a mighty powerful handset. The prowess of the camera is well known as Vivo and ZEISS continue their partnership.

The Vivo X90 series is coming before the end of the year and at least one of those phones will feature a 1-inch camera sensor. The camera samples that Vivo has shared are great to say the least, but that was to be expected.
